The artwork on this deck was done by Boreal Tech Design in collaboration with Damage Boardshop using a high-tech CO2 laser engraving machine. The laser's speed and power settings were optimized to get a deep, clean cut that vaporized some of the wood veneer (and colored dye) with each pass of the laser-beam over the board. The whole process took about 80 minutes in design and laser time. These boards are part of "Plys With Purpose" at the Prove Gallery and can be bid on here:
