Dropping tomorrow, 6/30, this colorway of the "Lynx" from DC was made famous by Josh Kalis in his Transworld "Sixth Sense" video part that came out in the late 90's. Because it was a sample it was only available to team riders until now. We're one of less than 40 shops with this very limited release...Don't sleep on this one. See you tomorrow at 10am!

Go Skate Day 2018 Recap

Last Thursday, June 21st was international Go Skate Day, one of our favorite days of the year. We had about 50 skaters participate in a cruise from the shop to the lighthouse in Canal Park with a few stops along the way. Thanks to all who came out to celebrate with us and a special shout out to Kyle Patterson for shooting these photos.

 En route to our first pit stop where Evan Hughes won himself a set of wheels for slaying the barriers at the overpass.

Team rider Kyle Walczak with a healthy dose of POP. The high ollie contest ended in a tie but Carter not only ollied, he kickflipped 16 decks to win the long jump... That stunt earned him a set of bearings. The kid knows how to ride his skateboard.

We saw a lot of familiar faces and a few new ones. Skateboarding's ability to bring people together is awesome.

We took our annual photo at the lighthouse before heading to Lake Avenue Restaurant and Bar for some much needed food and beverages. Thank you skateboarding!

DC LYNX RELEASE

On Saturday, June 30th, DC is re-releasing the "Lynx," a shoe made popular by East Coast legends Josh Kalis and Brian Wenning. This colorway was never actually available to the public because it was a sample the team tested during development. We'll be one of less than 40 shops in the U.S. with this extremely limited shoe. These won't last long so make a play before it's too late.

Go Skate Day 2018

It's that time of year again folks. This Thursday, June 21st is National Go Skateboarding Day. The plan is to have everyone meet at the shop at 7:00pm. From here we'll push our way to the lighthouse in Canal Park with a few pit stops along the way. After that we'll head to Lake Avenue Cafe to enjoy some food and drink specials at 9pm. It looks like the weather is going to be great so come out and celebrate skateboarding with us!
