Legend has it that the 1975 "Roswell Rayguns" were the laughing stock of the ABA, until a time-traveling spaceship arrived in Roswell carrying Dr. Funk and his squad of high stylin', profilin' basketball superstars from the mid 2000's. Dr. Funk's crew joined the team and the Rayguns dominated the league. It wasn't their futuristic skills that were the talk of the town... It was their Dunks, which, rumor has it were developed in a top-secret Nike testing facility. The fictional team was immortalized in 2005 when the original "Raygun" SB Dunk was released.
Nike SB reached deep into the archives while designing today's "Tie-Dye Raygun" Dunk Lows. This white "away game" iteration features an all-over tie-dye print paying homage to the late Sandy Bodecker, the founding father of Nike SB who was often seen wearing his tie-dye "Rayguns" hoodie.
