COAL COVID-19 MASKS

The folks at Coal Headwear are producing some great masks you can wear while you're out and about during these strange times. They're made of pre-shrunk double layer cotton, have an adjustable nose bridge, are washable and breathable, and have elastic loops for a secure fit.

SKATE THE LAKE TOMORROW

Just a reminder that tomorrow, June 21st is the 6th annual Skate the Lake cruise, International Go Skateboarding Day, as well as Father's Day. In other words, it's a great day to get out and skate. We will all meet up on the stage in Leif Erickson Park at 3:00 before hitting the trail. Heads up, we're closing up shop at 2:45 Sunday so if you need anything from us make sure to swing by before then. All are welcome, see you there!

RIDE THE FIRE

The Spitfire "Classic" wheel might be the most recognizable wheel in skateboarding. We were fortunate to receive boxes upon boxes of them in 51-60mm. There's a size and color for everyone! Along with the classics, we also have "Formula 4s" and the softer "Chargers" in stock. It's starting to feel like summer around here; get outside and ride the fire.

DC X BRONZE

DC and New York City based hardware company Bronze 56K are releasing two limited edition colorways of the DC Lukoda. The Lukoda was a shoe originally released in 1999 that resembles the ever popular Lynx silhouette. We recommend going a half size up as the Lukoda fits a little more snug in the toe box than the Lynx does. Customers will be limited to purchasing only one pair of each colorway.

Go Skate Day / Skate the Lake

This Sunday, June 21st is International Go Skateboarding Day and Father's Day. To celebrate we're hosting the 6th annual "Skate the Lake" cruise alongside our friends at The Back Alley. We will meet at the stage in Leif Erickson Park at 3:00 p.m. for a group photo before heading west towards Canal Park. We'll take a pit stop at Gichi-ode' Akiing Park (formerly Lake Place Park) to skate and let people catch up. Our final destination will be the William A. Irvin where we'll wrap it up with a session at the near by "Blue Bridge" Plaza. We welcome people of all races, genders, ages, orientations and abilities to take part in this event. The world has been a wild place lately and we feel that now more than ever it is necessary to bring EVERYONE together (even if we have to be socially distant). Skateboarding is for EVERYBODY. Let's celebrate skateboarding's ability to break barriers, push boundaries and bring people from all walks of life together.
