HUF sought inspiration for this collection by digging through the expansive "Girl Films" archives, exploring Crailtap's infamous art department - "The Art Dump", and through a rich shared history that shaped skateboarding's golden era. Several of the pieces are direct references to the first two Girl Skateboards films "Goldfish" and "Mouse" which completely redefined street skateboarding. While the Chocolate pieces are reminiscent of early board graphics and the "Little Keenan" skit from "Mouse". Taking it a step further, HUF and Crailtap are reintroducing Four Star Clothing with a collection inspired by the brand's original lineup worn by the likes of Rick Howard, Mark Gonzales, Eric Koston and Mike Carroll.
Mike Carroll and Keith Hufnagel are your favorite skater's, favorite skaters. In other words, this HUF x Crailtap collaboration is a match made in heaven.. or in the streets of SF. We'll let you decide.
The HUF x Crailtap collection will be available in store on Thursday, November 17th.
