How did you get into snowboarding? I loved action sports as a kid and I got lucky enough to get a 30$ snowboard from Play It Again Sports. I went to Spirit Mtn and had so much fun and just fell in love!

Best place to ride in MN: I think Spirit Mtn just because thats the home hill and it has a lot of different park features to ride.

Favorite memory snowboarding: I think my favorite memories are when I was 12-16 riding at Mont du Lac with all the boys. We all would play games of s-n-o-w all day making each other try tricks that we didn't think we could land and anything to mess with each other hahaha it was the best. Another good one was when my homie Keagon and I went to Steamboat having no clue what a big mountain was like and just destroying ourselves hahaha that was blast! Nothing better then hanging with the homies!

Favorite trick: A clean front board 4 or a GOOD backflip method.

Favorite snowboard film: Horgasm a love story hahaha love everything about it other then the EDM music. I like Blender. Gutterball! Anything Jed Anderson drops!

Favorite thing to do outside of snowboarding: Skateboarding with my friends and swimming.

Why should people support their local shop? They put on contests and do community fundraisers to help kids keep skating and snowboarding. Plus odds are a shop is putting on kids from your area so why wouldn't you support it when they support you!

Shout outs: Mom and Dad for driving me an hour to the hill every weekend. All my Mont du Lac boys I grew up with. Big shouts to those boys. All the damage homies who have been showing love since I was a kid. Wouldn't be here without these people :)

How did you get into snowboarding? One of my friend’s mom called my mom to see if I would be interested in joining ski club with him when we were in 5th grade. I was down, and joined ski club with him and we took lessons. I originally had them set up my board to ride goofy, but realized quickly after trying to push around that it felt wrong, so I got set up regular and have sent it ever since!
Best place to ride in MN: I have a home biased towards Powder Ridge, but Lutsen always offers a great time, and Trollhaugen right across the border in WI is guaranteed to have a solid park!
Favorite memory snowboarding: I have been fortunate to have to many memories snowboarding to pick a favorite. Tons of awesome times on hill with everyone I have been able to ride with. I would have to say a lot of my favorite memories would be a cumulation of all of the memories made while filming street. Epic road trips, hotel stays, problems solved, and hammers documented!
Favorite trick: Switch Backlip, Hardway Cab 270/Hardway Half-Cab Backlip or whatever you call it.
Favorite snowboard film: Burning Bridges, Follow Me Around, Cheers, Landline
Favorite thing to do outside of snowboarding: Ride bikes, play guitar, skateboard.
Why should people support their local shop? Local shops are super important for keeping a community alive around snowboarding. They are the ones that organize events in the area and provide the quality brands and gear to their customers.
Shout outs: Huge shout out to everyone that has ever helped me out with gear or involved me in events. Shout out to all my friends, and a special shout out to Mike Thienes, Mike Pettit, Derek Combs, Ben Olson, and everyone I have had the opportunity to film with!

How did you get into snowboarding? When I was younger I was just fixated on the idea of trying it and I found out that some of my friends at school were snowboarding too. My older cousin was snowboarding as well, so that definitely was an influence. I just ended up getting hooked on it even more just from learning more about it.
Favorite place to ride in MN: I wish I could time travel back to Mont Du lac in 2012/13. Spirit Mountain and Trollhaugen are bomb too.
Favorite memory snowboarding:  Too many good times to play favorites. Pretty much any nice day on the tow rope when everyone is having a good time is awesome. Alex’s back yard was a good sesh this last year too.
Favorite trick: I have a love for pretzels and presses.
Favorite snowboard film: Beacon and Landline are the two most beautifully filmed and edited videos I’ve seen.
Favorite thing to do outside of snowboarding: Skateboarding, being with my friends, reading, drawing stupid stuff, some video games; and last but not least camping, hiking, climbing, and just being with my girlfriend.
Why should people support their local shop? Because those who have a local shop to go to, are very fortunate to have one around. Your local shop extends beyond perimeter of the storefront. The local shop is something that most riders in a community (and the smaller surrounding communities) have in common and because of that, people who are otherwise individual skaters or snowboarders are organically brought together into a community of riders of different ages, backgrounds, and styles; and whatever the circumstance, when the community is brought together, we usually all jive with each other well enough on the common grounds that we all like to skate and snowboard. And the local shop, where every you are, is the biggest reason we have that. If you support your local shop, then you support skateboarding/snowboarding and your community.
Shout outs: Shout out to my Mom, Dad, and Brother (Marcie, Kevin, and Jake). To my girlfriend Taylor for supporting my snowboarding addiction. Thanks to my Cousin Joe Crain for his influence! Huge thanks to Mike Rapaich and Stephen Pestalozzi for taking time to film, for putting up with my freak outs, and most of all for being my good friends. Thank you to Alex Deminuik also for being my friend as well as an influential and supportive person. Thanks to Paul Lavold, the older brother I never had; Tony Marchette; Dan Spooner; the rest of the Damage Dirtbags (skate and snow); Must Be Minnesota!; Joe Sexton and Public; the Lamedogs; the Scud Tv boys (Scooter); Evan Hughs; Wyatt Hotchkin; Colton Maddy; Common Apparel; and the rest of the brands and people living in and being a part of Duluth’s scene. Thanks to my friend Kyle Cook for being one of the first people to ride with me, and get me psyched on it. Thank you to Ben Olson  and my best buddy Wyatt Lindberg for your influence and kindness. Lastly, Thanks to everyone I’ve had the privilege of riding with, love y’all.
Extra Credit Questions
Have you ever puked off a chairlift? Haha. No, I’m actually have a huge phobia of puking.  If I’m about to puke I’m usually in denial of it and will fight it to the end. It’s not rational, but I just hate it that much.
Have you ever had to pee off a chairlift? I haven’t made it to that point.
Have you ever made out with a girl on a chairlift? My lady and I will have to make that one happen sometime.
Have you ever fallen off a chairlift? Nope
Anything we need to know about riding the chairlift with you? Haha, I’m not sure. I have a hard time getting myself to leave the tow rope most days.

Number of years riding: 13 or 14
Home resort: Trollhaugen
Hook ups: IPP, Damage, Flux, Airblaster
How did you get into snowboarding? I skied and my brother snowboarded and just like any little girl I wanted to be cool like my big brother, so I ditched the skis and picked up a board at a local ski swap. I actually hated it at first and called my mom to come pick me up (lol) Let’s just say I love it more than anything now! I can’t really remember what ever clicked that I wanted to progress in it more but whatever it was I’m thankful.
Favorite place to ride in MN: I enjoy riding at Hyland. It kind of has the same fast paced vibe as Troll. I always find humor in kids getting thrown off the tow rope so that’s always funny to see too.
Favorite memory snowboarding: Oh boy, they probably start way back in middle school ski club. My friends and I would always go through the woods and build our own jumps. We’d purposely pretend we couldn’t hold onto the tow rope and cause collisions. Literally laughed so hard we’d pee ourselves and have to ride the bus home with wet pants.
Favorite trick: Front boards
Favorite snowboard film: Not a film (sorry) but LTC Tornado edit. Everything about it was just 12/10 Big fan.
Favorite thing to do outside of snowboarding: I just like being outside, whether it’s running, biking or kayaking I’m all for it. Recently caught the running bug so we’ll see how long that sticks around.
Why should people support their local shop? There’s so many reasons to support your local shop but the standout one to me is the relationships you build with people at the shop. The customer service/care is beyond anything you’ll receive at a big dealer or online. And if you’re shopping for something you love the odds of someone helping you out with a similar passion is pretty big and that is huge when it comes down purchasing what’s right for you.
Shout outs: Ma & Pa, Friends, Fam and all the troll homies <3

Favorite trick: Making my snowboard flex
Favorite snowboard film: Robot Foods Films

Why should people support their local shop? Well that’s a pretty easy question. They have the most knowledge of all products, so that will help you actually pick out the right gear! Shops also give back to the local snowboard community by hosting event like movie premiers, rail jams and things like that. Plus what happens if you break something you think Amazon is going to be able to get your stuff fixed for you so you don’t miss a day on hill. Didn’t think so Prime isn’t that fast!
